Restore Mass Ave is a small, volunteer-run nonprofit engaged in tree planting and care to restore the historic landscape of Embassy Row, the two miles of Massachusetts Avenue NW from Wisconsin Avenue east to Dupont Circle.
In 18 years, tree canopy in our project area increased dramatically, despite setbacks from road construction, storms and droughts. We succeed because RMA reps share in the work of choosing sites and trees and sharing knowledge of how to grow and protect mature trees. By helping Restore Mass Ave you’ll help our city reach its goal of 40% shade by 2032.
