How You Can Help

Volunteer With Us

Restore Mass Ave is entirely volunteer-managed and run. Our volunteers come from all around the DC area. They work as best fits their schedules.

Groups invited to sign up for summer Treekeeping

Our volunteer Treekeepers excavate, weed, water and in other ways assist problem trees that won’t grow without extra help.  Summer especially punishes at-risk trees.

For the summer of 2017 we invite small groups of first-time volunteers to our outdoor workshops on one or more weekend afternoons.

In the form below please enter info about your group, likely attendance, and preferred dates if any.   Of course we welcome individuals  and couples too. Green-minded people enjoy meeting up!

Restore Mass Ave veterans lead the sessions which last about 2 hours.  Our  “living classroom” on Embassy Row is accessible via Metrobus N, D, and H lines, and near the Dupont Circle Q Street exit, on Metrorail Red Line.

Updates will also be on the Upcoming Events page. We bring tools. You bring gloves, water. We all bring smiles!
